Geometry Arrow 2 is the next Geometry Dash levels-style platformer in the Geometry Arrow series. This time around, the player receives access to only six easy, medium, hard, insane and demon levels. That said, the game offers new features, including skill achievements and a customization option.
As with the previous game, the player can select any mode. The player determines the level of difficulty based on the expressions of emoji icons. Before customization, the levels share many of the same layout and obstacle features as the previous game, including ceilings, inclines and spikes. The player wins when they direct an arrow spaceship past all dangers to the end of the level.
Yet, Geometry Arrow 2 isn't entirely the same in terms of basic gameplay. It features flashing objects that can distract a player and cause them to make mistakes while trying to adjust to environmental changes and perform hand-eye coordination accurately. It also tracks the number of times the arrow spaceship is destroyed per level. It displays the number next to a skull-and-crossbones icon in the upper-left corner.
The achievement and customization options add new elements to the fun. When the player completes an achievement, they receive colorized design tools for a custom level build that adds colors and patterns to the existing levels. Customization changes the appearance of each one, which can make even an easy level harder to complete.
